- Stranger Than Fiction (2006) - 5 mistakes
Plot hole: Why would Kay go to all the trouble of rewriting the entire book, knowing it won\'t be as good as the original, when she could simply put the original ending back on now that Harold is fine? This can\'t be a character mistake, because as a world-renowned author, she would do everything possible (short of killing a real person, obviously) to write the best book she could. Visible crew/equipment: In the last shot of the scene near the beginning, when Harold tells the Polish lady at the bus stop that he can hear \"Harold thought it was a Wednesday,\" the boom mike dips in for a split second.
Continuity: At the end of the scene when Ana tries to give Harold the cookies, you see the box on the counter. Then the shot changes to Ana, then switches back to Harold and they are gone.
Continuity: When Harold first meets Ana there is a floury handprint on the front of her apron (on her chest) that disappears and then reappears.
Continuity: When Queen Latifah is in Emma Thompson\'s apartment for the first time, she is holding a bowl in one hand, with her right arm at her side. When she asks Thompson about her smoking, the shot cuts to a different view, and she is holding the bowl with both hands. Her hands were visible in the immediately preceding shot, so there was no time for her to move them. Submitted by Dandude
